PVT is a non-pathologizing, science-backed framework for understanding our neurobiology and responses to our environment, experiences, and other people. It provides a comprehensive overview of the autonomic nervous system and offers simple shifts that can result in profound changes. PVT emphasizes a bottom-up approach, meaning working with the body and lower regions of the brain; however cognitive strategies are used as well. This 2.5 hour workshop will teach you the most important pieces of the model through a mix of education and experiential practices. You will leave with knowledge, self-understanding and acceptance, and a plan for developing a true self-care practice.
