SOMATIC STRENGTH CREW
A home workout program designed to serve ALL of you. Your nervous system, your fascial system, your metabolism, your immune system, your psyche, your muscle mass, your cardiovascular system...
Because everything you do, you do it with your entire being and we run into trouble when we attempt to separate and ignore parts of ourselves.
As a somatic therapist, fitness instructor, and someone who's struggled with chronic health issues and "exercise intolerance" it became incredibly important to me to find a way to help people (and myself) exercise in a truly holistic and healing way.
I dove into the research on muscle and metabolism and blended it with what I know about the nervous system and stress physiology. The coolest thing I discovered was: all the latest discoveries in exercise science fit perfectly with what we know about nervous system regulation!
But the lamest thing was: none of the most popular fitness approaches are respecting ANY of those insights.
So, I decided to create what did not yet exist: a program that helps us open our posture, unwind our fascia, build muscle and functional strength, heal metabolism, build nervous system capacity, and include real recovery.

Don't be fooled by the "all rest all the time" narrative.
Nor by the "go big or go home" approach.
There IS a better way. A human way that honours all of you.

Before you lift a single weight...
I'll teach you:
-
how to prepare and fuel your body for movement
-
the science behind this new approach to exercise
-
the impact and benefits of each type of training
-
the principles of increasing intensity, maintaining consistency, and changing inputs
-
how to honour your true limits while still ensuring you're challenging yourself enough to build strength and capacity
I'm inviting you into my unfinished basement for some real, unpolished, human workouts.
I think we've all had enough of AI and perfectly curated content.
Let's get back to being human, being authentic, being messy, and doing it together as a group.
This "crew" is for you if:
-
You've become more sedentary than you want to be
-
You're constantly fatigued
-
You've experienced burnout
-
You have a history of over-exercising
-
You struggle to recover after exercise
-
You have chronic pain
-
You've been dealing with chronic health issues
-
You're doing all the therapy and nervous system regulation things but things aren't shifting enough
-
You've "rested" for years and things aren't getting better
Find your strength, find yourself.

FAQ's
Let me answer your questions
Can I go at my own pace or do I have to follow along with a group?
Each level of workout programs has a workout schedule to follow but you can begin and follow your own flow.
Will I be able to tailor it to myself?
Yes! I will continuously encourage you to check in with your own body and determine when to stop, when to slow down, when to speed up, when to take breaks and I will teach you how to find progress that honours your current level of capacity.
How much time do I need to commit to this?
In the Rookie program, a complete workout including warm-up and cool-down will take 15-30 minutes, 3 days per week.
In the Junior program, we're looking at 20-40 minutes 4 days per week
And at the Senior level, we're getting closer to an hour per workout, 5 days per week, with one of those workouts being a shorter cardio option.
Is this only for people who are already in shape?
Not at all - this program is designed to introduce or re-introduce you to exercise, meeting you at exactly the level you're at and growing with you as you build strength and make progress.
Is this just about the nervous system or could I actually lose weight and build muscle?
You will absolutely see body recomposition. This is just as much about "body building" as it is about nervous system regulation - if anything, it's more focused on muscular strength and cardio vascular training and the nervous system component is just a side benefit of this approach to training.
Do I need lots of equipment?
Just a couple sets of dumbbells, resistance bands, and something you can use as a bench (stairs and coffee tables work great).
Will I be able to ask questions?
Yes! There is a community forum for questions and support and you can always message me directly!
Are there any live workouts?
Yup! I will be hosting live workouts on Zoom where we go over one of the workouts from the program together.
