As a somatic therapist, fitness instructor, and someone who's struggled with chronic health issues and "exercise intolerance" it became incredibly important to me to find a way to help people (and myself) exercise in a truly healing way.
I dove into the research on muscle and metabolism and blended it with what I know about the nervous system and stress physiology. The coolest thing I discovered was: all the latest discoveries in exercise science fit perfectly with what we know about nervous system regulation.
But none of the most popular fitness approaches are respecting those insights.
So, I decided to create what did not yet exist: a program that helps us open our posture, unwind our fascia, build muscle and functional strength, heal metabolism, build nervous system capacity, and promotes recovery from stress and chronic symptoms.

Don't be fooled by the "all gentle all the time" narrative.
Nor by the "go big or go home" approach.
There IS a better way. A way that honours how humans are designed to live, breathe, and move.

Cardio

Before you lift a single weight...
I'll teach you:
-
how to prepare and fuel your body for movement
-
the science behind this approach to exercise
-
the impact and benefits of each type of training
-
the principles of increasing intensity, maintaining consistency, and changing inputs
-
how to honour your true limits while still ensuring you're challenging yourself enough to build strength and capacity

Rookie Level
You'll be introduced to the postural shifts, fascial opening, and a new approach to strength and cardio training. These workouts will meet you in the beginning of your journey - with shorter and fewer workouts that still give you a huge payoff.
You'll find several rookie-level programs to follow for 5-6 weeks at a time before moving onto the next level.

Junior Level
Here you'll find slightly more challenging variations of familiar exercises from your time in the rookie stage. But now we're upping the ante with more sets and one extra workout per week. Increased intensity, frequency, and length.
You'll also repeat this series of workouts for 6 weeks before moving onto a newly designed program and stepping it up again.

Senior Level
This level will involve even more challenging variations of those familiar exercises. Increasing sets, intensity, and adding an additional workout each week, bringing us up to 5 days of fitness per week.
Again, you'll repeat one program at a time using the principles of progressive overload for 6 weeks before moving onto another senior level program.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I am absolutely loving this program, Jenna. I have noticed so much more muscle growth than I anticipated in the month I've been doing this. I also notice that after I do the workouts I feel a peace and calmness and ability to breathe deeply that feels so good!
I look forward to working out now and it's so much easier to schedule into my day because it's actually enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I've noticed myself being able to channel unresolved feelings into these workouts and I feel so refreshed after. Finally experiencing that long sought after "runners high" from these workouts. I look forward to the days I get to move my body and feel it getting stronger.

FAQ's
Let me answer your questions
Can I go at my own pace or do I have to follow along with a group?
The entire program is pre-recorded and available for you to follow at your own pace with recommendations about how to move through the workouts.
Will I be able to tailor it to myself?
Yes! I will continuously encourage you to check in with your own body and determine when to stop, when to slow down, when to speed up, when to take breaks and I will teach you how to find progress that honours your current level of capacity to ensure healthy growth rather than rapid progression followed by crashes.
How much time do I need to commit to this?
In the Rookie program, a complete workout including warm-up and cool-down will take 15-30 minutes, 3 days per week.
In the Junior program, we're looking at 20-40 minutes 4 days per week
And at the Senior level, we're getting closer to an hour per workout, 5 days per week, with one of those workouts being a shorter cardio option.
Is this only for people who are already in shape?
Not at all - this program is designed to introduce or re-introduce you to exercise, meeting you at exactly the level you're at and growing with you as you build strength and make progress.
Is this just about the nervous system or could I actually lose weight and build muscle?
You will absolutely see body recomposition. This is just as much about "body building" as it is about nervous system regulation - if anything, it's more focused on muscular strength and cardio vascular training and the nervous system component is just a side benefit of this approach to training.
Do I need lots of equipment?
Just a couple sets of dumbbells, resistance bands, and something you can use as a bench (stairs and coffee tables work great).
Will I be able to ask questions?
Yes! There is a community forum for questions and support and you can always message me directly!
Are there any live workouts?
Yup! I will be hosting live workouts on Zoom where we go over one of the workouts from the program together.
