FELT SENSE

This is THE guide to get you started on your somatic healing journey.
This E-book is for you IF:
You've done the therapy.
You've gotten the diagnosis.
You’ve tried the medication.
You’ve seen the "root cause" practitioner.
You've taken the workshops, read the books, followed the accounts.
And you’re still. not. better.
This e-book demystifies somatic work so you don’t have to. It explains exactly what it is—and isn’t—so you can explore new possibilities with confidence. Clear yet comprehensive and written by a deeply passionate, integrative trauma therapist.
What is it about?
Understanding your Neurobiology
For somatic work to work, you need to understand how you operate and the basis for intervening at the somatic level.
Clarifying somatic work
This e-book offers a clear, grounded approach, blending science and practicality with empathy and compassion.
Streamlining somatic work
You are complex but healing doesn't have to be. This e-book simplifies the process, offering accessible and effective methods for reconnecting mind and body.
Somatic work is everywhere these days. Somatic workouts, somatic breathwork, somatic therapy, yet so many of us still feel confused about what it really is. Allow me to cut through the noise and show you how to connect with your body in ways that make sense AND make a difference.
Our physiology and psychology are complicated but healing doesn't have to be.

The Backstory
I’m Jenna, a Canadian, clinical social worker who became obsessed with neuroscience as a way to convince herself of the validity of psychotherapy. Once I understood how the brain, body, and nervous system work, I began to understand why talk and cognitive behavioral therapy didn’t, and began practicing as a somatic therapist. Then I became seriously unwell myself and (to my surprise) needed my own somatic healing. The science convinced me, but my felt experience with this work has made me almost unbearably passionate about teaching and guiding others along this path.
What's Inside:
This e-book guides you through key concepts—from basic nervous system anatomy and Polyvagal theory to practical ways of exploring states like freeze, shutdown, and sympathetic activation. You’ll dive into breathing, movement, stillness, and touch-based practices, plus learn about the neuroscience of emotions and “parts” work. Along the way, it addresses safety, attunement, and memory reconsolidation—ultimately helping you build self-trust and deeper embodiment.
